reconnecting with our inner wisdom,
transforming our stories,
healing ourselves,
and sharing our good medicine with the world
Good Medicine Bloomington offers unique nature-based healing practices in conjunction with ceremony, and rites-of-passage.
We believe that it is our birthright to live vibrant lives and share our gifts with the world.
We also know that the path is not always easy and there can be times of darkness.
There are gifts in the darkness that are much easier to find with a guide!
We respect each person's inner wisdom and only help to guide you towards it.

"HEALING IS A REVOLUTIONARY ACT AND WE ARE HERE TO AWAKEN TO THE TRUE NATURE OF OUR OWN SOULS AND THE GIFTS WE HAVE TO GIVE TO THE WORLD.”

Who we are:
Hi I'm Monique.
|
I'm a community builder, crafter, storyteller, kairomancer, healer, dreamer, facilitator, entrepreneur, celebrant and ceremonialist, lover of cultures, people, and the earth. I like the trickster, and the darkness. I love to laugh and have been known to scare owls from their nests with my cackle.
I have been traveling and studying healing modalities such as E.F.T., herbalism, and more, with various teachers since 1998! It began from needing to heal my own wounds, grief, and ancestral trauma. After experience so much healing myself and witnessing it in others, I can't help but share. I offer my healing work through private sessions, couples/group sessions, a girl's empowerment group at our local high school, a local Women's Circle, and some classes at Soulcraft Bloomington. Outside of guided healing sessions you might find me in the forest or in the cold wild waters of Monroe County, or at Soulcraft Bloomington, Indiana's first forest and folk school- also a means of deep healing and soulful connection! My passion and medicine is to create spaces for deep connection to ourselves, each other, nature, the mystery of it all. I do this through healing work at Good Medicine Bloomington, and through community events and classes at Soulcraft Bloomington. It all involves nature, ceremony, getting messy, and feeling alive- with kids and adults! I intend to experience all this magnificent earth has to offer, hopefully making some good trouble along the way and laughing a whole lot. I honor my ancestral lineage, and the lineage of teachers that have shared with me bundles of teachings that will take a lifetime and a community to fully unpack and engage with -Gilbert Walking Bull and the Woptura Lineage, Paul Rapheal, Malidoma Some, Sobonfu Some, Jake and Judy Swamp, Robert Moss, Tom Brown Jr, Barry Moses, Jon Young, Mark Morey, Char Tosi, and so many more. It is the people of the earth, the generous and deeply caring indigenous keepers of knowledge that I owe the depth of my understanding of the world to. I will do my absolute best to honor their generosity, traditions, and knowledge. |
